In a series of tweets over the last year, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has expressed his passionate support for the dog-themed cryptocurrency ‘Dogecoin.’ His tweets also not only increased global awareness of the cryptocurrency but have inspired buyers to purchase further Dogecoins.
Musk AKA “Dogefather” has said that he wants Dogecoin to be the “money of the internet.” He claims that vast stockpiles of Dogecoin held by “crypto whales” are preventing it from becoming a common currency, and that he will buy out big Dogecoin investors.
